ABB IRB 1600ID

ABB’s IRB 1600ID (Inte­grat­ed Dress­ing) mod­el is designed for arc weld­ing per­fec­tion. Inter­nal­ly rout­ed cables and hoses make this robot eas­i­er to pro­gram, more flex­i­ble and compact.

Build with every­thing (arc weld­ing, pow­er, weld­ing wire, shield­ing gas, and pres­sur­ized air) inside the arm, the ABB IRB 1600ID sim­pli­fies floor plans. Wires and hoses last longer with this pro­tec­tive con­fig­u­ra­tion. The entire robot is safe­guard­ed with an IP40 rating.

This 6‑axis robot can be installed any­where — floor, ceil­ing, or at an angle. The ABB IRB 1600ID’s 1.5m max­i­mum reach is wider because of its inter­nal dress­ing. It pro­vides a 4 kg payload.

The new and used ABB IRB 1600ID can use either the IRC5 or the S4C robot controller.
