Summary:
This position requires a versatile technical person that can assist/support multiple departments. Responsibilities include supporting computer hardware, software, and troubleshooting. Experience in 3D modeling and AutoCAD is required. Basic typing skills and knowledge of Microsoft word is a must.

Lead Robotics Engineer

Overview:

The Lead Robotics Engineer works with company employees, as well as customers and suppliers to utilize the latest technologies to integrate robotics into material handling, welding and specified systems for manufacturing applications. This includes R&D and prototype development to successfully bring new products to market. The process involves understanding the customer's goals and objectives, and developing engineered solutions with low risk factors to meet these goals.

 

The Lead Robotics Engineer is responsible for multiple integration projects and will be capable of concepting, research, sales and applications support, estimating, component selection, device troubleshooting, robotics programming, and debug, and service support. The Lead Robotics Engineer will cross-train as required in controls programming and mechanical design.

Ensure projects are executed in the most effective manner in regards to time, cost (budget), quality, and function.

Clear communication with management and the shop leadership on issues that arise.

Develop and implement quality improvement or cost reduction initiatives (standards).

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 7 years of Engineering experience and working knowledge of Robot systems and products including a combination of the following:

 

·         Demonstrated financial business knowledge

 

·         experience with cost engineering processes and tools.

 

·         Experience in development of technical and cost proposals and working knowledge of the required tools to generate a Basis of Estimate for Cost Engineering capabilities

 

·         Experience in preparing customer and/or management level briefings

 

·         Experience in project and/or team leadership

 

·         Engineering expertise and technical skills to engage Program Management, Integrated Supply Chain

 

·         Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite applications.

 

·         5 years’ experience with Robotic Automation (Fanuc & Motoman), specifically material handling systems and welding.

 

·         Experience with machine vision

 

·         Aptitude for Hands on Electrical and Mechanical troubleshooting

 

·         2D and 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc) a plus

The Robotic Application Engineer will utilize their vast background of industrial robotic manufacturing installations and experience to assist our sales and integration team to configure robotic workcells per the customer’s requirements.

·         must be very familiar with Fanuc, Motoman, Kuka or ABB, which are the main robot manufacturers that RobotWorx sells..

Summary:
The Web Designer/Developer will be responsible for web page design and development under the direction of the Web\IT Manager.
