About the Job

RobotWorx, one of the nation’s largest robotic integrators, is seeking an experienced Robot Engineer to work with our Sales Team designing and quoting complex customized robotic workcells.

Job Responsibilities

The Sales Engineer will utilize their vast background of industrial robotic manufacturing installations and experience to sell robotic workcells per the customer’s requirements.

·         Must have an excellent understanding of integrating industrial robotic and automation systems.

·         Must be very familiar (with at least two) Fanuc, Motoman, Kuka or ABB, which are the main robot manufacturers that RobotWorx sells..

·         Must be able to configure and quote proven technologies to integrate a robotic system for the customer’s material handling, welding or palletizing manufacturing applications.

·         Must be able to understand the customer's goals and objectives, and develop engineered solutions with proven products and low risk factors to meet these goals.

·         Will be involved with advising on estimating, component selection, device troubleshooting, robotics programming, and debug, and service support.

·         The Robotic Sales Application Engineer will utilize their vast background of industrial robotic manufacturing installations and experience to assist our sales and integration team to configure robotic workcells per the customer’s requirements.

 Requirements

·         Bachelor degree in Engineering preferred

·         Minimum 5 years’ experience with industrial robotic automation, (Fanuc, Motoman, ABB or Kuka). 

·         Experience with robotic vision systems is a plus

·         CAD experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) is a plus 

·         Experience with PLC’s is a plus 

·         Excellent problem solving and time management skills

·         Microsoft Excel, CRM and other Office Suite applications. 

·         Job location Marion, Ohio

This is a salaried position with medical, dental, vision, vacation, paid holidays, bonus and 401K after 90 days.

This is a day shift position with very minimal travel to the customer’s facility.

The Robot Tech will utilize their vast background and experience to integrate robotic workcells per the customer’s requirements.
Must have an excellent understanding of integrating industrial robotic and automation systems.

Ensure projects are executed in the most effective manner in regards to time, cost (budget), quality, and function.
Clear communication with management and the shop leadership on issues that arise.
Develop and implement quality improvement or cost reduction initiatives (standards).
Contribute to project teams, providing help outside of robotics scope when required.
Establish beneficial relationships with our key supplier products and services.
 
Requirements 
 
Technical degree or higher preferred
Minimum 5 years’ experience with industrial robotic automation, (Fanuc, Motoman, ABB or Kuka). 
Experience with robotic vision systems is a plus

The position is 100% inside sales with no cold calling or travel to customer’s facility.  Leads are provided daily with customers in need of our product and services.

Job Responsibilities

The Sales Representative will utilize their vast background of Sales and experience to sell robotic workcells that meet customer’s requirements.

·         Understanding and experience with industrial robotic and automation systems is a plus.

·         Familiar with either Fanuc, Motoman, Kuka or ABB, which are the main robot manufacturers that RobotWorx sells, is a plus.

·         Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a people person")

·         Excellent verbal/written communication and strong negotiation skills

·         Must possess the ability to close

 Requirements

·         Bachelor degree preferred

·         Excellent typing skills required, minimum 30 WPM.

·         Experience in Meeting Sales Goals, handling Customer Service.

·         Experience with CRM’s such as Salesforce

·         Skills in Closing and Negotiation.

·         Self-Confidence, Product Knowledge, and Motivated.

·         Excellent problem solving and time management skills

·         Microsoft Excel, and other Office Suite applications.

Compensation

·         Base Salary with aggressive commission plan along with company participated benefits package.
