As part of a family of six-axis articulated electric servo driven robots, the FANUC S-420S robot is designed to handle a variety of spot welding, machine load and un-loading, sealing, material handling and parts transfer.
There are several robot models available in the FANUC S-420 series, including the S 420S. They feature absolute encoder positioning and brakes on all axes and a slender profile. The heavy-duty machine tool-type construction of the s420s built to withstand and operate in the most severe plant environments. The arm joints are anti-friction bearing mounted and there are safety limits switche for overtravel protection.
