The KUKA KR 30 JET gantry robot greatly extends the work envelope of the standard KR30 JET while conserving floorspace. A linear gantry track offers several advantages, such as the ability for a single robot to handle a larger part or bigger process. For even faster production, two robots can operate on a single JET axis. This allows several production processes to run simultaneously.
The gantry design of the KUKA KR-30 allows facilities to conserve shop space by mounting robots overhead. The length of the linear axis is customizable in variations of 0.4 m on the KR 30 JET. This simplifies integration and increases flexibility.
