Motoman's EPX2800R robot is a shelf-mounted robot that offers many of the same advantages as other Motoman painting robots. The robot is still designed with six axes, but an optional seventh axis can be added for rail-mounting. A longer reach of 2,825mm also differentiates this robot from others in Motoman's EPX series. The Motoman EPX 2800R robot's 15kg maximum payload capacity, 2.0 m/s maximum speed, and shelf-mount style make coating and dispensing applications easy and efficient.
The EPX-2800R robot is controlled by the NX100-FM controller. This controller features dual emergency stop pushbuttons and a manual brake release for safety. It also comes outfitted with an explosion-proof teach pendant and software specifically designed for paint applications.
