Motoman SP80

Designed specif­i­cal­ly for pal­letiz­ing appli­ca­tions, the 5‑axis Motoman SP80 is a high speed solu­tion with an 80 kg pay­load. The SP80 XRC has a wide, 360 degree work enve­lope that can ser­vice mul­ti­ple infeed con­vey­ors and a sin­gle pal­let load­ing sta­tion. Requir­ing min­i­mal space, the Motoman SP80 is ide­al as an end of line pal­letiz­ing solu­tion. This eco­nom­i­cal robot pro­vides the advan­tages of high-speed, high-per­for­mance pal­letiz­ing, com­bined with a slim wrist and com­pact design.

The used Motoman SP80 is also avail­able for sale at Robots​.com. All used SP80 robots have under­gone a metic­u­lous refur­bish­ment process. 

The five-axis design of the new and used Motoman SP80 XRC does not use par­al­lel links for the low­er or upper arm, which elim­i­nates inter­fer­ence zones with­in the work enve­lope. Its fast axi­al speeds reduce cycle time and increase pro­duc­tion out­put. Oth­er fea­tures include advanced Sig­ma motors and inter­nal­ly rout­ed air and I/O sig­nal lines. PC based, off-line pro­gram­ming soft­ware is avail­able as an option to sim­pli­fy pro­gram­ming of pal­letiz­ing applications.
