The RW1450 is a custom welding cell designed by RobotWorx. The RW1450 includes a headstock / tailstock positioner and a stationary work table. These positioners are 53 inches apart and can handle a payload of up to 450kg each. The stationary work table comes in sizes of 2' x 5' or 2' x 8'.
A variety of medium reach reconditioned robot arms will fit into the RW1450, such as the Motoman UP6 XRC, Fanuc Arc Mate 100i, Fanuc Arc Mate 120i, or the Panasonic VR6GII.
This custom workcell is sold as a complete system with safety equipment such as light curtains, fencing, and automatic doors for operator protection when loading and unloading parts. Most components of the system can be adapted to fit individual needs.
