Showcasing Robotic Solutions at Automate 2015
On March 23, 2015, the robotics industry will converge on Chicago, Illinois for Automate 2015, the largest showcase of robotic automation in North America. Companies will show off their newest robotic gadgets, while also supplying support to attendees who may be looking for new automation ideas for their facilities.
Automate is organized by the Association for Advancing Automation (A3), along with the Robotics Industrial Association (RIA), AIA (the global association for vision and imaging), and the Motion Control Association (MCA). Robotics companies like ABB, FANUC, Motoman, and ABB will be on site with their latest and greatest robotic solutions for industrial automation, as well as any new features and parts that may improve current robots. The industry has been meeting like this every two years or so since 1977, when Automate was called the International Robots, Vision & Motion Control Show. Over the years, it has grown significantly along with the industry it supports.
While companies have booths to demonstrate their systems, allowing attendees to find strategic ways to solve their own automation problems, there is also an educational aspect to Automate. According to AutomateShow.com, the exhibition features a broad array of classes from beginner to advanced skill levels, allowing attendees to take up to four full days of training. This robotic training help attendees understand the industry and the challenges that it faces – and by extension, the challenges that attendees may face with their automation.
Some of the highlights of this year’s Automate show are expert huddles, discussing important issues with an expert in the industry around the show floor. There is also a certified vision professional program available, as well as vision standards demonstrations.
Automate 2015 is March 23-26, 2015 at McCormick Place North in Chicago, Illinois. The conference starts daily at 8:00 a.m.
