Motoman DX100 Controller

The Motoman DX100 is an open com­mu­ni­ca­tion dynam­ic next-gen­er­a­tion con­troller with the abil­i­ty to con­trol up to 8 robots (72 axes max). It has fast pro­cess­ing speeds that lead to high per­for­mances, smooth inter­po­la­tion, and open com­mu­ni­ca­tion. Floor space is able to be effi­cient­ly uti­lized with the use of the DX100 as the con­nec­tions are on the back of the unit. The DX100 uses Advanced Robot Motion (ARM) con­trol and is best-in class for path plan­ning which helps to decrease teach­ing time. 

Ener­gy sav­ing (up to 25%) and safe­ty-com­pli­ant, the DX100 is pro­grammed through a small and light­weight Win­dows CE col­or screen teach pen­dant. This input device includes fea­tures a unique cross-shaped nav­i­ga­tion cur­sor which helps to reduce teach­ing time and improve productivity.

Addi­tion­al­ly, the pen­dant has a con­ve­nient and com­pact flash slot to help facil­i­tate back­ups and all it hous­es all of the oper­a­tor con­trols. The DX100 reduces the need for sep­a­rate PLC and HMI devices. This results in a sig­nif­i­cant cost sav­ings when inte­grat­ing a robot­ic work­cell. Fur­ther­more, there is a main­te­nance with reduc­er sta­tus check func­tion to help enhance trou­ble shoot­ing and alarm recovery. 

Small­er DX-series con­troller options include the DXM100 or the upgrad­ed and pow­er­ful DX200.
