The IRB 6640 – 180 has an IP67 pro­tec­tion rat­ing and addi­tion­al Foundry Plus 2 or Foundry Prime 2 options. Addi­tion­al­ly, safe­ty is no longer a con­cern with its avail­able load iden­ti­fi­ca­tion, mov­able mechan­i­cal stops, elec­tron­ic posi­tions switch­es (EPS), and a stiff steel struc­ture. True Move and Quick Move help to increase the robot­’s life and decrease main­te­nance as they help achieve direct path per­for­mance and load mon­i­tor­ing. The IRB 6640 – 180 is paired with the advanced IRC5 controller.
