Preventative maintenance checklist

Find out what preventative maintenance tasks you should be performing every month, year, and more to keep your industrial robot running at its peak performance. For instance, you should check the teach pendant cable every 3 months. Additionally, each axis, reducer, and gearbox should have the grease replaced yearly or after 3,000 hours. All robot arm cables should be checked annually.  The robot should be thoroughly cleaned and inspected every year, also making sure all the external bolts tights.  You should also clean the vents and air filters with compressed air every 3 months. Finally, you should check and replace the robot battery. To learn more about industrial robots, please visit us at www.robots.com
