Quick Tip: Preventative Maintenance Checklist

 

In this Quick Tip edition, learn about preventative maintenance that should be performed on an industrial robot every 3, 12, 18, and 36 months. EVery three months the cable connected to the teach pendant should be connected. Once a year the bushing and the balancer should be greased, major external bolts should be checked for tightness. Every 18 months replace the batteries. Every 36 months replace the gear box grease.
