The Fanuc M16iAT is an over­head-mount­ed robot designed for mate­r­i­al han­dling and machine tend­ing appli­ca­tions. This sys­tem fea­tures a stan­dard Fanuc M‑16i RJ3iB robot arm with a mod­i­fied J1 axis that allows it to be mount­ed on an over­head rail. Six full axes of motion, one lin­ear and five rotary, allow for greater mobil­i­ty and the abil­i­ty to reach a larg­er work area with­out sac­ri­fic­ing floor-space.

The rails for the M‑16iAT RJ-3iB are avail­able in both stan­dard and cus­tomized lengths. They can be attached to free-stand­ing sup­port legs or attached to oth­er machin­ery. Addi­tion­al options include dual arm con­fig­u­ra­tion on a sin­gle rail and bel­lows pro­tec­tion for the rail.
