Motoman HP5

The Motoman HP5 is a com­pact, extra high-speed robot that does not require a large instal­la­tion space. The HP5 has a high­er pay­load of 5 kg. The HP5 NX100 robot offers supe­ri­or per­for­mance in small part appli­ca­tions such as assem­bly, dis­pens­ing, pack­ag­ing, mate­r­i­al han­dling, and machine tending.

Due to its small foot­print, the Motoman HP5 NX100 can be floor, wall, or ceil­ing-mount­ed. The com­pact design and built-in col­li­sion avoid­ance fea­tures with mul­ti­ple robot con­trol allow up to four robots to be used togeth­er to max­i­mize pro­duc­tiv­i­ty while reduc­ing over­all floor­space require­ments. Mul­ti­ple robot con­trol sim­pli­fies pro­gram­ming and elim­i­nates cable interference.

The Motoman HP5 takes advan­tage of the advanced NX100 con­troller. The NX100 high-per­for­mance con­troller fea­tures the easy-to-use INFORM II pro­gram­ming lan­guage and robust PC archi­tec­ture. The HP5 can also be paired with the NXC100 or the NXM100 controller.

The 5 kg pay­load and Moto­Sim sim­u­la­tion soft­ware add to the advan­tages of the HP5, which has the high­est speed in its class.
