Motoman MH5S II
The MH5S is a compact, six-axis robot that has high axial speeds and can handle up to a 5 kg payload and work a ride range of tasks from small parts assembly, machine tending, to arc welding. It offers the widest work envelope in its class with a horizontal reach of 706 mm and vertical reach of 1,193 mm. The shortened distances between the B-axis and T-axis helps to enhance the carrying capacity with high moments of inertia.
The MH5S II can save very valuable floor space as it is lightweight and compact making it ideal for tabletop, ceiling, or wall mounts. Additionally, it has a slim upper arm on which valve packs and other auxiliary equipment can still be mounted and internally routed airlines and electrical wires, all of which help to decrease potential interferences and simplify the design..
Some additional options for this robot are anti-corrosive paint, extended length manipulator cables, and/or robot risers and base plates.
There are multiple controller options that can be paired with the MH5S II (DX200, FS100, MLX200) depending on the specific application and plant skill set.
