DC Ross has a unique fully automated metal stamping process, called fine blanking, to create customized tools or parts. Using a heavy gauge, this process produces more precise parts more consistently at a rate up to 100 components per minute. Smoother edges and more control on part dimensions makes fine blanking a better process to use than manual metal stamping. This process also allows less steps required to make the part.
DC Ross is based out of Dunedin, New Zealand, but can supply parts around the globe. DC Ross Ltd. was established in 1963, forming sheet metal. In 1976, the first fine blanking press was installed. DC Ross is now a part of the SCOTT Technology Ltd group.
