Applied Sorting Technologies, a sister company of RobotWorx, is based out of Australia and has over 20 years of experience in the business of x-ray food inspection equipment. The company began their work in the diamond recovery equipment using x-ray fluorescence for Argyle Diamonds. This experience, along with the diversity and background of the team, helps to provide an exceptional knowledge base to best help satisfy the customer's needs.
The AST team is made up of a broad range of x-ray inspection specialists, including engineers and scientists, who are available to offer their wisdom and support before, during, and after sales. They are hard workers and are constantly innovating and creating an amazing reputation for building robust and reliable equipment.
Applied Sorting Technologies takes pride in their customer care and readiness to provide a custom built machine for any special application. They have already exceeded many expectations of custom requirements or standalone x-ray food inspection systems for customers in the field of ore and mineral sorting, carcass stimulation, meat product imaging, and packaged goods inspection.
A new system was recently developed, the x-ray transmission sorter, to help analyze the ores of steel alloying elements (tungsten, molybdenum, and nickel). Depending on the mineral content, the system sorts the ore-based and provides high yields for very small processing cost.
In addition, for clients who have small amounts of product to check, there is also an x-ray inspection service available from AST. This system was designed to check for damaged packaging, contamination, or defects in the packaged product or contaminants such as glass chips, stones, fragments of metal and bone, and dense plastics and rubbers.
Applied Sorting also helps to develop stimulation systems that can handle the harsh and rugged environment of processing rooms. They are currently working with Meat and Livestock Australia, Food Science Australia, and the Victorian department of Primary Industries.
Having diverse sister companies all over the world helps us cater to our own customer’s needs and locations better. We are able to collaborate on a global scale in order to ensure your automation system is perfectly catered for your needs. This ultimately helps representatives to spend quality time looking at the customer’s current conditions, hear and see their specific requests first-hand, and begin to turn their automation needs into a reality. It ensures the time to market is expedited.
At RobotWorx, we are proud to be a part of this global team. To learn more about Applied Sorting Technologies and what they offer, please visit their website here or call us at 740-251-4312 to discuss.
