The ABB FlexArc L-600 is an incredibly flexible and versatile workcell. It enables customers to choose between several single or multi-robot production solutions, and arrives to the facility ready to weld. The internal cables were routed and connected at the factory with the cell components mounted on a common base, removing any need for any onsite engineering work.
The ABB FlexArc L-600 offers standard welding interfaces that works with all major welding equipment brands. The FlexPendant weld data editor is simple and intuitive, requiring minimal training to organize the welding operation into a series of work steps. It provides the operators with an overview of the status of the cell, the quality of the product, and production data. The user has all necessary information required to track number of parts produced, the number of welds produced, cycle times, and the individual weld length.
The FlexArc L-600 has a maximum rotation speed of 150 rpm, a max continuous Torque of 650 Nm and a max bending Torque of 3300 Nm.
Additional equipment options for the FlexArc L-600 include: Torch Service Center Including BullseyeTM, SmarTacTM, Laser SmarTacTM, Connected Services, 3D Optical Tracking, Robot Studio, Virtual FlexArcTM, WeldGuide, Secondary Enabling Device, Roll-up Door, Fume Hood
ABB has created a new generation as positioners that are incredibly robust, ensuring excellent stability and ability to be used in harsh environments. The FlexArc is also proud of its flexibility design; it is built on a standard pallet and can easily be moved within or between different production facilities. The robot has the ability to weld new and different parts and maintain maximum flexibility of the cell.
