The Motoman HP6R is the shelf mount variation. The advantage to a shelf-mount robot is the ability to reach under and behind the robot body, greatly increasing the work area without increasing the robot size. The HP6R offers the same benefits as the standard Motoman HP6, but with a larger work envelope.
