Resistance Welding Robots

Robotic resistance welding is an economical way to join two pieces of sheet metal. A current is passed through two metal work pieces that are held together and a pool is formed by the heat produced, joining the pieces. The application method is also used for a variety of joining and heat-treating projects within the manufacturing field.

One of the chief benefits of an industrial robot resistance welder is higher speed and repeatability. Companies increase productivity while decrease labor and production costs.

Robots.com sells new and refurbished resistance welding robots made by Motoman, Fanuc, KUKA and ABB.
