Definition and Functionality
Simultaneous Control is a control mode provided for a system with more than one mechanism or axis moving at the same time. When two mechanisms start, move and end simultaneously, they are using simultaneous control.

Common Applications
Synchronization can be done with various configurations, including:
- A robot with a headstock and tailstock
- Two robots working together
- A robot manipulator with a slider and/or a positioner (sometimes called an external axis)
