ABB IRB 6640-485

Any heavy duty mate­r­i­al han­dling, machine tend­ing, or spot weld­ing job will only be improved with the ABB IRB 6640 – 485. It is ready to tack­le any job requir­ing a pay­load of up to 485 kg and reach of 2800 mm. The soft­ware tech­nol­o­gy, True­Move and Quick­Move, help to improve the pre­ci­sion of the path and avoid col­li­sions. Addi­tion­al­ly, it will be able to be placed in a com­pact pro­duc­tion line as it can bend over back­wards with its 2800 mm reach. 

One can expect decreased main­te­nance costs with the IP67 pro­tec­tion with options for Foundry Plus 2 or Foundry Prime 2. Safe­ty issues will not be a con­cern with all of the fea­tures avail­able includ­ing load iden­ti­fi­ca­tion, mov­able mechan­i­cal stops, elec­tron­ic posi­tions switch­es (EPS), and a stiff steel struc­ture. The advanced IRC5 con­troller will be paired with the IRB 6640 – 485.
