Motoman MH600

The ver­sa­tile MH600 is a high per­for­mance robot specif­i­cal­ly used for heavy duty jobs as it can han­dle a pay­load up to 600 kg and mul­ti­ple mate­ri­als includ­ing ceram­ics, com­pos­ites, met­als, and poly­mers. It is per­fect for machine or press tend­ing, ​“jig­less” appli­ca­tions, or any oth­er han­dling tasks as it has heavy-duty bear­ings that help to pro­vide a smooth arm rota­tion. The six-axis MH600 has full capa­bil­i­ty with par­al­lel link con­struc­tion which boasts strength, rigid­i­ty, and sta­bi­liza­tion for any loads bear­ing high moment or inertia.

The design of the floor mount­ed MH600 is also stream­lined, which improves over­all pro­duc­tiv­i­ty as it can reach into con­fined spaces. Cable and air line lives can be increased as they are rout­ed through the robot base to the upper arm. This also enhances safe­ty and reduces teach­ing time. Automat­ing with the MH600 can help rid any incon­sis­ten­cies that may have pre­vi­ous­ly exist­ed with man­u­al oper­a­tions with appli­ca­tions such as turn­ing, milling, and grinding. 

Oth­er bonus­es include a 70% less pow­er con­sump­tion dur­ing motion, and 25% sav­ings dur­ing idle peri­ods. In addi­tion, the safe­ty fea­tures are enhanced as it has con­trol reli­able soft­ware for guarding.
