Motoman MPL160 II

The ver­sa­tile and high-speed MPL160 II is a high­ly reli­able, 4‑axis pal­letiz­ing robot. It has a per­for­mance-dri­ven design and is able to effec­tive­ly han­dle unbal­anced loads. It has an exten­sive 3,024 mm ver­ti­cal reach, and a 3,159 mm hor­i­zon­tal reach which allows it to build a 102 in. tall trail­er-high loads (with stan­dard 48 in. x 40 in. pal­lets). All of these traits make the MPL160 II is the per­fect robot for numer­ous pal­letizin­gap­pli­ca­tions such as order pick­ing or end-of-line or dis­tri­b­u­tion cen­ter automation. 

The wrist of the MPL160 II is hol­low which allows flex­i­bil­i­ty to con­nect an EOAT enabling a wide range of motion with­out any inter­fer­ence. The robot base has cable instal­la­tion to help allow the field bus rout­ing to the upper arm/​gripper. Also, the T‑axis fea­tures high allow­able moment of iner­tia, eas­ing the abil­i­ty to han­dle asym­met­ric loads with­out the com­pro­mise of speed or performance. 

There are addi­tion­al options avail­able, such as Pal­let­Solver, which helps cre­ate pal­letiz­ing pat­terns and quick changeovers with­out stop­ping pro­duc­tion. In addi­tion, there is anoth­er option for the NSF-H1 cer­ti­fied food-grade lubri­cant avail­able if need­ed for a food or con­sumer prod­uct pack­ag­ing environment.Overall, the MPL160 II is high­ly cus­tomiz­able to each pal­letiz­ing sys­tem mak­ing it the per­fect solu­tion for your next automa­tion integration. 

The MPL160 II will be paired with the DX200 or MLX 200 controller.
