Motoman SDA5D

The Motoman SDA5D assem­bly robot pro­vides ​“human-like” flex­i­bil­i­ty in assem­bly appli­ca­tions. The Motoman SDA5D DX100has two arms, 7 axes per arm, and one axis for base rota­tion. The arms can work togeth­er to dou­ble their pay­load capac­i­ty to 10 kg (5 kg per arm), which is the low­est pay­load in the SDA series, or they can work sep­a­rate­ly to accel­er­ate assem­bly, part trans­fer, machine tend­ing, pack­ag­ing, or oth­er han­dling appli­ca­tions. Cables and hoses are rout­ed inter­nal­ly in the SDA5D DX100 to reduce wear and sim­pli­fy programming.

The used Motoman SDA5D is also avail­able through Robots​.com. All used SDA5D robots have under­gone an intense refur­bish­ment process, bring­ing them back to mint condition. 

With an 845 mm hor­i­zon­tal reach, 1,118 mm ver­ti­cal reach, and 0.06 mm repeata­bil­i­ty, the Motoman SDA5D DX100 robot per­forms tasks that used to be com­plet­ed only by humans. This dual-armed robot pro­vides effi­cien­cy and sav­ings in an increas­ing­ly auto­mat­ed world.
