Motoman SDA5D Robot

The Motoman SDA5D assembly robot provides "human-like" flexibility in assembly applications. The Motoman SDA5D DX100has two arms, 7 axes per arm, and one axis for base rotation. The arms can work together to double their payload capacity to 10 kg (5 kg per arm), which is the lowest payload in the SDA series, or they can work separately to accelerate assembly, part transfer, machine tending, packaging, or other handling applications. Cables and hoses are routed internally in the SDA5D DX100 to reduce wear and simplify programming.

The used Motoman SDA5D is also available through Robots.com. All used SDA5D robots have undergone an intense refurbishment process, bringing them back to mint condition.

With an 845 mm horizontal reach, 1,118 mm vertical reach, and 0.06 mm repeatability, the Motoman SDA5D DX100 robot performs tasks that used to be completed only by humans. This dual-armed robot provides efficiency and savings in an increasingly automated world.
