The Motoman ES165RD spot welding robot provides manufacturers with an easy way to automate while saving floor space. The ES 165RD robot is a six-axis, shelf-mounted robot. Manufacturers can install the robot where it suits production best. Exceptional repeatability, long horizontal and vertical reach, and the ability to be shelf-mounted allow the ES165 RD to spot weld parts that might be inaccessible to other robots. Also, the ES-165RD robot is the fastest shelf-mounted robot in its series.
For safety, all six axes are equipped with brakes. Additionally, the DX100 controller features a dual-channel emergency stop pushbuttons and a manual brake release. A category three functional safety unit can also be integrated in the ES-165 RD for added safety.
