Customized Weld Cell with a Fanuc ArcMate 100iC/6L Robot
If your production line has unique needs and requires customization, then Robots.com is ready to do the job for you! Robots.com is a robotics integrator for a wide range of large manufacturers such as Fanuc. They are experienced engineers with customized automation solutions as seen with the custom welding cell with a Fanuc ARC Mate 100iC/6L robot. Robots.com' technicians and engineers built the workcell with productivity in mind.
One of the best parts of working with a robotics integrator is the ability to customize your own welding cell, as opposed to buying a stock work cell or robot system from the manufacturer. When a customer invests in a custom welding work cell, they are able to have it made to the exact specifications of their product and production line.
Robots.com’ technicians and engineers built this workcell using a Fanuc Arc Mate 100iC/6L robot with a Fanuc R-30iA controller and a welding package consisting of a Lincoln PowerWave 350, an Abicor Binzel chiller, and a Lincoln AutoDrive 4R220.
The positioner on this system is a Camco rotating table with two separate positioners affixed to each side that can tilt and rotate on their own.
The safety package includes a large metal barrier separating side A and side B of the Camco table and a SICK area scanner to ensure that no one enters the work area while the robot welder is in operation.
This system is great for any parts manufacturer that wants to speed up their welding application. As opposed to a human welder who can load a part, weld a part, off load a part, and then start the process all over again, this workcell allows a worker to load parts on one side and then rotate the table to the robot for welding.
We are capable of customizing workcells to fit your needs. Depending on specificiations and requirements laid out, we can easily help you establish the right type of workcell and robot for your product.
