Fanuc LR Mate 200iB

The ver­sa­tile Fanuc LR Mate 200iB, a robot in the Fanuc line, is a com­pact, mod­u­lar con­struc­tion, table-top robot that can be used for a vari­ety of appli­ca­tions. The 200iB robot is elec­tric ser­vo-dri­ven and has a six-axis arm with many dif­fer­ent mount­ing capa­bil­i­ties. The 200-iB also has the abil­i­ty to flip over back­wards for a larg­er work enve­lope and to pro­vide max­i­mum flexibility.

Addi­tion­al ben­e­fits include axis speeds that can reach up to 480 degrees/​sec., an end effec­tor built into the wrist, fail-safe brakes on axis 2 and 3, and an inte­gral, inter­nal­ly mount­ed sole­noid valve pack. Min­i­mal main­te­nance will be required with the brush­less AC ser­vo motors and har­mon­ic dri­ves on all axes. Fur­ther­more, there are sealed bear­ings and dri­ves, and inter­nal­ly mount­ed cables and tool­ing ser­vices for fur­ther protection. 

The Fanuc LRMate 200iB RJ3iB is the stan­dard mod­el, how­ev­er there are four oth­er mod­els that are capa­ble of han­dling high­er loads than most com­pa­ra­ble robots. All five of the 200iB mod­els have small bases and wrists to fit into tight spots. They are designed to per­form with great pre­ci­sion and speed and each mod­el is craft­ed for a spe­cif­ic purpose.

The four addi­tion­al ver­sions include: the used 200iB/​5C clean­room mod­el fits the Class 100, ISO Class 5 require­ments; the used food grade ver­sion, 200iB/​5WP, is built to with­stand intense wash­ing; for long reach needs; the used 200iB/​3L extends 858mm; and the 200iB/​5P ver­sion offers an even faster, more accu­rate automa­tion solu­tion. It is evi­dent that the 200iB mod­els can tack­le a wide range of appli­ca­tions such as assem­bly, mate­r­i­al han­dling, clean­room, indus­tri­al wash­ing and food han­dling, along with sev­er­al others.

These Fanuc mini 200ib robots are designed to han­dle small parts in a wide-range of indus­tries and work­ing envi­ron­ments, includ­ing machine shops, and med­ical device, food, plas­tics and clean-room man­u­fac­tur­ing. Though the arm size is small­er, this Fanuc robot has enhanced pay­load capabilities. 

Fur­ther­more, the LR Mate 200-iB can use machine vision for guid­ance and inspec­tion, and has high joint speed that max­i­mizes through­put, sav­ing the con­sumer time and labor costs.
