Com­pact and ver­sa­tile, the S‑10 is ide­al for appli­ca­tions that require pre­ci­sion such as dis­pens­ing and assem­bly. The Fanuc S‑10 has six axes of motion and mul­ti­ple mount­ing options add to the flex­i­bil­i­ty of this robot arm. A slim body allows for min­i­mal floor space requirements.

The S‑10 has many per­for­mance-enhanc­ing fea­tures such as absolute encoder posi­tion­ing and RV speed reduc­ers on the three major axes for smooth motions at slow speeds. A direct-dri­ve design elim­i­nates trou­ble­some belts, chains, and ball screws. The AC ser­vo motors have a high pow­er-to-weight ratio, allow­ing for max­i­mum speed and torque. Inte­gral fail-safe brakes on all 6 axes increase safety.
