Regard­less of the pur­chase of a new or refur­bished robot, the Motoman ES165D will pro­vide a top qual­i­ty prod­uct. Ser­vo motors pow­er the axes and arms of the ES165D to extend to a max­i­mum 3,372 mm ver­ti­cal reach and a 2,651 mm hor­i­zon­tal reach. The ES165D DX100 robot­’s axes have max­i­mum speeds rang­ing from 110 degrees/​second to 240 degrees/​second, mak­ing it the fastest spot weld­ing robot in the ES series. It is con­trolled by the Motoman DX100 con­troller and can manip­u­late up to 165 kg.

End of arm tool­ing (EOAT), such as weld guns, can be stored behind the Motoman ES165D robot­’s body for easy main­te­nance access. Small­er Motoman spot weld­ing robots, can be uti­lized along­side the ES165D DX100 robot to increase through­put by decreas­ing pro­duc­tion time.
