Motoman MH5LS II

The MH5LS II is a com­pact, six-axis robot that has high axi­al speeds and can han­dle up to a 5 kg pay­load and work a ride range of tasks from small parts assem­bly, machine tend­ing, to arc welding. 

It has an extend­ed low­er and upper arm bring­ing a hor­i­zon­tal reach of 895 mm and a ver­ti­cal reach of 1,560 mm. The short­ened dis­tances between the B‑axis and T‑axis helps to enhance the car­ry­ing capac­i­ty with high moments of inertia. 

The MH5LS II can save very valu­able floor space as it is light­weight and com­pact mak­ing it ide­al for table­top, ceil­ing, or wall mounts. Addi­tion­al­ly, it has a slim upper arm on which valve packs and oth­er aux­il­iary equip­ment can still be mount­ed and inter­nal­ly rout­ed air­lines and elec­tri­cal wires, all of which help to decrease poten­tial inter­fer­ences and sim­pli­fy the design..

Also, some addi­tion­al options for this robot are anti-cor­ro­sive paint, extend­ed length manip­u­la­tor cables, and/​or robot ris­ers and base plates. 

There are mul­ti­ple con­troller options that can be paired with the MH5LS II (DX200, FS100, MLX200) depend­ing on the spe­cif­ic appli­ca­tion and plant skill set.
