The FANUC R2000iA/165R is a six-axis, high performance, rack-mount robot ideal for shelf installations. It works from an elevated position to enable it to reach a lower level. It is suitable for a wide range of applications such as spot welding, general assemblypalletizing, loading and unloading of parts, material handling, and pick and place.

The R-2000iA/165R’s outstanding mechanical features offer a generous payload capacity at 165kg and an extended reach at 3095mm. This large work envelope comes with a slim wrist design; these combine to give the robot the ability to reach overhead and behind, while also allowing operation in tight spaces and minimizing interference with system peripherals. This expansive reach and elimination of a counterweight increases available work space. In addition, all axes have reducers and the application cables are passed through the arms and there no motors in its arms.

Integration is also made easier with several process attachment points. A stationary outer arm simplifies hose and cable dress out, which ultimately prolongs service life, results in longer maintenance intervals, and lower operating costs.

This robot comes paired with the intelligent robot control system, RJ3iB, which has a B size cabinet, quick boot-up, and fast-to-change amplifier. The RJ3iB controller simple to connect with different I/O and has a custom and easy user-interface design.
