ABB IRB 14050 Single-Arm YuMi

ABB brings anoth­er huge inno­va­tion to the col­lab­o­ra­tive automa­tion world, the agile and com­pact sin­gle-arm YuMi. The sin­gle-arm YuMi has a 0.5 kg pay­load, small foot­print, and inte­grat­ed grip­per with vision and vac­u­um. It pro­vides high speeds and accu­ra­cy, short cycle times, and a best-in-class safe­ty design. Work­ers can eas­i­ly teach the robot motions, process­es, and posi­tions with it’s sim­ple lead-through pro­gram­ming allow­ing for the fast and easy deploy­ment for new robot users.

The sin­gle-arm YuMi can eas­i­ly be inte­grat­ed onto exist­ing man­u­fac­tur­ing lines and any pro­duc­tion envi­ron­ment. The ultra-light mag­ne­sium arm is 9.5 kg can be mount­ed in any direc­tion includ­ing ceil­ing, table, and wall. 

Anoth­er unique fea­ture that the YuMi arm pro­vides is its sev­en axes of move­ments. This human-like move­ment can move with amaz­ing agili­ty to help tack­le small parts assem­bly with ease such as con­sumer elec­tron­ics, con­sumer goods, and small and medi­um enterprises. 

Fur­ther­more, the dual-arm YuMi and sin­gle-arm YuMi can work togeth­er as an extra arm for more com­plex assem­bly tasks that require more than 2 robot arms.
