The Motoman EA 1400 is a six-axis, high performance, expert arc welding industrial robot. The EA-1400 features a patented internal cabling design that streamlines the robot profile. This internal design increases cable life by reducing wear and eliminating cable flip. A reduction in programming and cycle time is achieved by minimizing the motion required for torch orientation.

EA-1400 Motoman welding robots can perform a full T-axis rotation without cable interference. A hollow upper arm maintains the optimum bend radius of the welding torch cable, maximizing weld performance and extending cable life without cable interference.
