The Fanuc ARC Mate 100iB is a six-axis, mod­u­lar con­struc­tion, elec­tric ser­vo-dri­ven weld­ing robot that was designed with high speed in mind. Com­pact and flex­i­ble, the Arc Mate 100iB robot is capa­ble of high speed weld­ing and cut­ting, yet pre­cise enough to han­dle pick and place appli­ca­tions. The Fanuc ARC Mate 100iB has a rel­a­tive­ly light­weight pay­load abil­i­ty at 6kg, which makes it per­fect for weld­ing appli­ca­tions.

Fur­ther­more, the wire feed motor mounts direct­ly to the top arm with added dura­bil­i­ty through the use of sealed bear­ings and pro­tect­ed drives.Its high speed wrist axes reduce hair­cut times and improve the over­all through­put. The ARC Mate 100iB RJ3iB Fanuc robots also have extreme­ly nar­row wrists, mak­ing the inside of parts or oth­er machines eas­i­ly acces­si­ble. It offers a very large work enve­lope that is use­ful for large parts or tool­ing. There are also gas/​air lines and a Lin­coln Elec­tric wire feed motor cable rout­ed inside the robot arm, help­ing to improve over­all reli­a­bil­i­ty and elim­i­nate exter­nal cabling requirements.
