The Fanuc CR-35iB is the highly advanced collaborative robot. With a high payload of 35kg, this collaborative robot has the heaviest payload against the competition. The CR35iB has soft covers that makes it comfortable to touch and protects against any pinch points.
Its integrated safety sensor makes it stop instantly if it senses touch, and has been approved by the TUV (ISO 10218-1-2011, Category 3, PL=d).
Fanuc wanted to base their collaborative robot design off their existing industry proven designs. Their idea is that this is a real robot performing real industrial operations, only now it has the safety ability to work side by side with humans. The new Fanuc CR 35iB is expected to be out in the market this year.
