The Motoman ArcWorld IV-4000 family of fully integrated robotic solutions features a high-speed double-ended headstock / tailstock positioner and one robot (AWIV-4000) or two robots (AWIV-4200) for Hyper-Productivity.
The ArcWorld IV-4000 workcells provides affordable, high-performance wire-to-weld solutions for small- to medium-size products at medium to high volumes.
Both versions of this workcell feature the NX100 controller with menu-driven arc welding application software, integrated welding package, high-speed positioner with 3 servo motor drives, operator interface, and total safety environment.
This total safety environment features dual-channel safety-rated, tamper-resistant interlocks; complete barrier guarding; single point of operator control (for all robots); and dual-channel light curtains - in compliance with the ANSI/RIA R15.06-1999 safety standard.
Depending on application requirements, the ArcWorld IV-4000 is available with one or two EA1400N or EA1900N (extended-reach) robots. Dual robot configurations double your productivity. The unique, integrated torch cable design of the EA-series "Expert Arc" welding robots eliminates cable interference, making programming easier and reducing wear and associated cable maintenance downtime.
The highly flexible MSR2S-500 turntable provides part positioning on two stations (robot and operator) simultaneously. Servo headstocks can be coordinated with the robot, and can also be rotated while indexing to save cycle time. Manual jog capability to facilitate part loading/unloading is standard. This positioner features a 500-kg payload capacity per side. When fully loaded, it indexes in less than 3.7 seconds. The tooling envelope is 1.3 meters in diameter and 2 meters in length.
