IRB 4600-60 Information

The ABB IRB 4600-60 IRC robot is compact, accurate, and speedy, a cut above the rest. It will quickly increase your productivity and production capacity as it combines a high output with shorter cycle times, cutting cycle times by up to 25%.  The IRB 4600-60 can achieve highest in its class speeds and acceleration but also remain flexible with multiple mounting options, such as floor, tilted, semi-shelf, or inverted.  This makes the IRB 4600-60 ideal for a wide assortment of applications from arc welding and cutting, to dispensing and assembly.

In addition, the IRB 4600 IRC5 arm is incredibly slender - allowing for optimal part accessibility and installation flexibility. The compact base covers a 512 x 676 mm space; this ensures space saving options, shrinks the footprint of your manufacturing cells, and allows you to place the robot closer to the served machines, further increasing your output and productivity. 

While the standard protection is IP67, a Foundry Plus version is also available. There are additional protection options available such as:

  • - Resistant paint
  • - Rust protected mounting flange
  • - Protection for molten metal spits on non-moving cables
  • - Extra protection plates over the floor cable connections on the foot

  • The IRB 4600-60 is paired with the advanced and intuitive IRC5 controller.
