ABB IRB 4600-60/2.05

The ABB IRB 4600 – 60 IRC robot is com­pact, accu­rate, and speedy, a cut above the rest. It will quick­ly increase your pro­duc­tiv­i­ty and pro­duc­tion capac­i­ty as it com­bines a high out­put with short­er cycle times, cut­ting cycle times by up to 25%. The IRB 4600 – 60 can achieve high­est in its class speeds and accel­er­a­tion but also remain flex­i­ble with mul­ti­ple mount­ing options, such as floor, tilt­ed, semi-shelf, or invert­ed. This makes the IRB 4600 – 60 ide­al for a wide assort­ment of appli­ca­tions from arc weld­ing and cut­ting, to dis­pens­ing and assembly.

In addi­tion, the IRB 4600 IRC5 arm is incred­i­bly slen­der — allow­ing for opti­mal part acces­si­bil­i­ty and instal­la­tion flex­i­bil­i­ty. The com­pact base cov­ers a 512 x 676 mm space; this ensures space sav­ing options, shrinks the foot­print of your man­u­fac­tur­ing cells, and allows you to place the robot clos­er to the served machines, fur­ther increas­ing your out­put and productivity. 

While the stan­dard pro­tec­tion is IP67, a Foundry Plus ver­sion is also avail­able. There are addi­tion­al pro­tec­tion options avail­able such as:

• Resis­tant paint
• Rust pro­tect­ed mount­ing flange
• Pro­tec­tion for molten met­al spits on non-mov­ing cables
• Extra pro­tec­tion plates over the floor cable con­nec­tions on the foot
