INTEGRATOR OF NEW AND USED ROBOTS FOR INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION

What is the difference between thermal robots and nonthermal robots?

Motoman Robotics Inc. uses the terms thermal and nonthermal to differentiate welding robots from non-welding robots. Thermal in this context refers to heat.

Motoman's numerous thermal robots and thermal robot systems are designed specifically for arc welding (MIG welding and TIG welding) or spot welding jobs. Nonthermal robot applications include material handling, assembly, pick and place, machine tending, etc.
