INTEGRATOR OF NEW AND USED ROBOTS FOR INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION

Which robot should I use?

When choosing to automate your factory floor, the choice of which robot to use can seem overwhelming. We've provided tools to help make this decision easier.

Choosing the Robot Manufacturer:

This choice is often the easiest or the most difficult. Your company might have someone who is already experienced with a particular robot manufacturer and the programming, operation, and maintenance procedures.

If your company already has an industrial robot, the temptation might be to use that particular robot manufacturer. If your experience with industrial robots is limited, the differences among the major manufacturers are more subtle: Motoman RobotsFanuc Robots, and Kuka Robots.

Finding the Right Robot Model for your Application:

The majority of six-axis industrial robots can be used for a variety of robotic applications. Robots are limited, however, by payload and reach requirements. You should use a robot that is capable of easily reaching all aspects of your application, as well as one that can safely handle weight requirements.

Smaller robots provide the flexibility for arc welding and small handling applications. Larger industrial robots provide the reach and payload for applications such as spot welding and large handling processes. Our talented sales team and engineers can help you determine the best robot to use for your application.

Used or New Robotic Equipment:

The integration of used robotic equipment has several advantages as outlined in The Purpose of Buying Used Industrial Robots. The biggest advantage is cost. Used robotic systems that have been reconditioned and are sold with a warranty and a guarantee are a bargain at a fraction of the price of a new system. If you would still prefer a new system, we can help find the one that is right for you as well.
