Robot manufacturers ABB Robotics and Adept Technology Inc. each carry a line of Delta robots similar in design to the FANUC spider robots.
Flexpicker
ABB's answer to FANUC's spider robot is the IRB 360 Flexpicker. The IRB 360 is ABB's second generation of Delta robots. It is faster, stronger, and more compact than its predecessor, the IRB 340. Available in four different versions, the three-legged IRB 360 is a versatile and precise mover.
Quattro
Adept's spider-like robot, the Quattro s650H, has four legs and a substantial 6kg payload capacity. Its work envelope extends a full 1300mm. Agile and quick, the Quattro has a streamlined design with controls and amplifier integrated into the robot body. The Quattro comes in a food-safe USDA-approved version too, the s650HS.
