Yaskawa Motoman dual arm design has changed over the years. The SDA robots are more streamlined, flexible, and human-like in their movements compared to earlier two arm models.

Dual-arm solutions are well-suited for assembly, machine tending, and material handling applications. SDA-series robots have 15 axes - seven in each arm and one at the base. Arms can work together or separately. The design allows for considerable reach and payload flexibility.
