Motoman's MotoPallet software allows users to create and simulate robot palletizing applications off-line. This tool speeds programming, organizes data, and simplifies robot task creation.
MotoPallet is compatible with NX100, XRC, MRC, and ERC controllers. It utilizes MotoSim EG to simulate different robot system configurations on the PC. Motoman's MotoPallet allows programmers to create and test out different pallets and systems without incurring any downtime. This way robotic workcell layouts can be optimized to provide the best cycle times and throughput.
Simple drag and drop features allow users to build layer patterns and pallet loads quickly. MotoPallet can easily create pallets where boxes are oriented a specific direction (labels out) or not. Slip sheets can be added too. Programmers can either choose from a library of palletizing templates or create their own.
Once the robotic palletizing programs are created, they can be downloaded to the robot controller. Using MotoPallet, multiple palletizing jobs can be stored on robot controller. MotoPallet is designed to store an impressive number of different systems for modeling and implementation: 32 box asynchronous pick and place; 8 infeed conveyors; 8 build stations; 25 layers / pallet; 50 boxes / layer.
